Good Cause

Whoever intercedes in
A good cause
Becomes a partner therein:
And whoever recommends
And helps an evil cause,
Shares in its burden:
And God hath power
Over all things.

When a (courteous) greeting
Is offered to you, meet it
With a greeting still more
Courteous, or (at least)
Of equal courtesy.
God takes careful account
Of all things.

(The Holy Quran, Chapter: 4, Verses: 85,86)

Birds

Do they not observe
The birds above them,
Spreading their wings
And folding them in?
None can uphold them
Except the Most Gracious:
Truly it is He
That watches over all things.

(The Holy Quran. Chapter: 67, Verse: 19)

Do The Best You Can

Let there arise out of you
A band of people
Inviting to all that is good,
Enjoining what is right,
And forbidding what is wrong:
They are the ones
To attain felicity.

(The Holy Quran. Chapter: 3, Verse: 104)

தீமையைத் தடுக்க வேண்டும்//FORBID EVIL

உங்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த சந்ததிகளில் (தாங்களும் நன்மையைக் கடைபிடித்து மற்ற மனிதர்களும்)
விஷமம் செய்யாது தடுக்கக்கூடிய சான்றோர் இருந்திருக்க வேண்டாமா? அவர்கள் ஒரு சொற்ப எண்ணிக்கையில் மட்டுமே இருந்தனர்.
நாம் அவர்களைப் பாதுகாத்துக் கொண்டோம். ஆனால் அநியாயக்காரர்களோ தங்களது ஆசாபாசங்களைப் பின்பற்றி
பாவத்தில் நிலைத்திருந்தார்கள்.

ஓர் ஊராரில் சிலர் (மற்றவர்களைப் பாவம் செய்யாது) சீர்திருத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கும் வரையில்
(மற்ற) சிலரின் அநியாயத்திற்காக அவ்வூரார் அனைவரையும் உங்களது இறைவன் அழித்துவிட மாட்டான்.

If only there had been
Of the generations before you,
People of righteousness
Who prohibited people
From Mischief in the earth
(But there were none)
Except a few among them
Whom We saved (from harm)?
But the wrong-doers pursued
The enjoyment of the good things
Of life which were given them,
And persisted in sin.

Nor would thy Lord be
The One to destroy
The towns unjustly
While their people are
Righteous.
